Official Plan Intensification Study

Senior GPA planners led this study to develop a growth strategy for the Town of Ajax to provide a framework for intensification within the built boundary as well as a set of Official Plan policies intended to create vibrant, healthy, safe, and attractive neighbourhoods, based on existing and planned transit and infrastructure. Our integrated approach included urban design and servicing capacity analysis by developing and testing options through stakeholder workshops to define key places that will sustain appropriate growth to achieve provincial and regional targets and create complete communities. Our team also conducted the intensification and housing strategy for Richmond Hill.
