GPA were the planning consultants for a mid-rise and townhouse development on a brownfield site near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue West and Old Weston Road. The site was developed by a partnership of Diamondcorp and Kilmer Brownfield Equity Fund L.P. A large part of the site, in the interior of the block, had previously been operated as a public works yard by the City, and a portion of the site fronting on St. Clair was a former gas station and used car lot. The project includes 160 residential units in an 11-storey mid-rise building aligned along St. Clair Avenue West with ground floor retail, and 96 townhouse units in a series of blocks in the interior of the site. Twenty townhouse units will be built and managed by Habitat for Humanity as affordable housing. The project architects were Giannone Petricone Architects.
