John Gladki provided expert testimony on behalf of the Town of Richmond Hill in support of their approved Official Plan policies as they affect this site and in opposition to a development proposal that significantly increases density and height limits. The site is located in the Oak Ridges Moraine and the Official Plan policies reflect the contextual sensitivities of the location. As part of his evidence, John explained the implications of the policy context and other adopted guidelines for development on the site. He argued that the proposed development is out of keeping with the context and policy intent for the area.
